What do I need to bring?
All you need to bring on the day is swimwear, a towel and shower products. If you have paid extra for your wetsuit we will help choose the right one for you, then meet you on the dock! If you haven't got your own impact vest or helmet - don't worry - we can give you one free of charge. If you have booked onto a beginners lesson all equipment is included, any other wakeboard session, additional add-ons for wetsuits and board rentals require a small fee extra during the booking process.
On the colder days we also offer wetsuit socks and gloves for a small additional fee at check in.
What if the weather is pants?
It is very rare that we have to cancel due to bad weather. If this is the case, you will be contacted in advance of your booked time slot and we will rearrange for a convenient time for you on another day with no additional charge. Please make sure, during your online booking you provide a contact number.
I'm not the best swimmer, is this a problem?
All of our equipment is buoyant and there is no chance of sinking once your board is on - we can guarantee that! For beginner lessons, we only take you as far as the nearest obstacle so we can communicate with one another. If you're feeling confident and standing up on the board we will take you out further. If you cannot swim at all or are not comfortable in water let us know so that we are aware, you will be fine!
How long is the session and how much of it is on the water?
The beginners wakeboarding session is 30 minutes total.
10 minutes of this will be a dry dock informal chat about how to get started, hand signals whilst on the water and any questions you may have. This safety chat is a must whether you have ridden before or not.
The rest of your 20 minutes will be taught on the water were you'll be shredding that wakeboard and buzzing once you come off!
